Please link to your favorite Etsy Sellers here! I have families from all walks of life and many different countries who read this blog. Many of them are contemplating adding more handmade or small-seller gifts to their holiday celebrations for the very first time (and as we all know, sometimes this can be the first step toward also making some gifts next year!)
However, these readers have no idea where to start on Etsy. Therefore, I would love for you all, my dear readers, to post links to the sellers you love on Etsy and what you have bought this year or in the past.
Okay, let the linking begin, and thank you for helping other families move toward handmade!
Many blessings, what fun!
Carrie
Ooooh! Where do I begin?!! I’ll try to limit my response here. 🙂
I bought hand knit hats from this shop and they are amazing! Here is a link for Mad About Color: http://www.etsy.com/listing/59966800/one-newborn-rainbow-munchkin-hat
I also love the jewelry from this shop. Very nature inspired and reasonably priced. http://www.etsy.com/listing/82729760/magic-fairy-door-tree-of-life-with
More amazing jewelry and mini-terrariums in rings and pendants (seriously. AMAZING.) http://www.etsy.com/shop/WoodlandBelle?ref=seller_info
And lastly, the most beautiful needle felted wool fairies and angels. http://www.etsy.com/shop/Nushkie?ref=seller_info
Thank you, Carrie, for supporting Etsy. My own shop, Qwink, is closed now for the holidays, but I look forward to sewing up some more little clothes this spring!
Hi Carrie
Some good Waldorf inspired shops can be found under the following two teams:
http://www.etsy.com/teams/6447/natural-kids
http://www.etsy.com/teams/7523/waldorf-on-etsy
For both teams, the shops can be found under members.
May I also self-promote? I make Waldorf inspired butterfly wings, crowns, dolls, etc.:
http://www.etsy.com/shop/ZiezoDesigns
Please note that the deadline for orders is approaching – in case you want them before Christmas. . .
http://www.etsy.com/shop/ladulcievitaclaywork
http://www.etsy.com/shop/stitchinnetka
awesome shop, hand sewn bunting flags, crowns, you name it!
http://www.etsy.com/shop/jupiterschild
love, love, love Jupiters Child, got a really beautiful hand crafted tree for our nature table from here that is simply wonderful! Also handmade jump ropes, and beeswax polish!!
http://www.etsy.com/shop/MamaWestWind
My friend makes the cutest Peg Doll Gnomes for play for an older child (who won’t mouth toys) or the nature table… she also made our family the cutest “Tooth Fairy’s Assistant” with a pouch to store the tooth in til the Tooth Fairy arrives.
This is my dream store… I want to fill a forest with her birdhouses and fairy statues. But I love giving her pendants to friends as gifts.http://www.etsy.com/shop/mulberrymudd
This store has some really affordable, simple wood cutouts. We had a bit of a problem with the water-wave-set breaking with rough play, but otherwise (people, trees, dragons) the pieces have all become part of my children’s daily play.

forgot the link! 😉
The possibilities are endless with a little Felt!
http://www.etsy.com/shop/FeltOnTheFly?ref=ss_profile
My friends here in Michigan make wonderful playsilks and wood playthings. We have so many of their goods and they continue to be our favorites.

We are a Waldorf family and will possibly be doing Waldorf Homeschooling soon. We enjoy buying from local venders and handmade goods. Here are some of our favourites on etsy.
SwansNest (our family shop – our oldest helps with each item as well)
http://www.etsy.com/shop/swansnest?ref=pr_shop_more
Mountain Hearth Handcrafts (Family friends and another Waldorf family)
http://www.etsy.com/shop/mountainhearth?ref=pr_shop_more
Nizhon Jewelry and Lapidary Design (A family friend and naturalist – she combines her Native American roots with modern influences in her pieces. Great gifts for that special someone in your life.)
http://www.etsy.com/shop/Nizhonjewelry?ref=pr_shop_more
Angela Michelle Dolls and Miniatures
http://www.etsy.com/shop/AngelaMichelleDolls?ref=seller_info
Mystic Orb Wooden Jewelry
http://www.etsy.com/shop/mysticorb?ref=seller_info
I agree with looking into the teams as well. They can give you a combined effort towards common focus in there work. Don’t limit yourself to them though. You’ll find, once you click on individual shops, that the individuals have a great sense of art and value others outside the Waldorf realm. Like myself, I’m not a doll maker or a painter but I am greatly influence by Rudolph Steiner’s architecture and by the beautiful and serene Waldorf community and I strive to reflect that in my pieces.
Have fun on etsy everyone!
Fine art note cards and note card sets. Ethereal birds and dreamscapes. All made from Waldorf home-schooling mother:

What a wonderful post. I’ve had a great time looking at everyone’s favorites (and I’ve put a few things in my own wish list, too).
We have a tiny, tiny etsy shop of our own:
http://www.etsy.com/shop/beepsandclicks
I love the play clips my husband made for our son…so much so that we opened this shop to share them with others. We only have a couple of sets left but hopefully he’ll be back in the garage soon to make more.
I’ve bought unfinished trees and stacking toys from ClickityClack. Much less expensive than the pre-finished ones we see in catalogs, plus I get to do the fun part (painting and beeswax finish).

Hi all- can I promote myself- I don’t yet have an etsy shop, between homeschooling waldorf and running my business I haven’t gotten there yet but I make beautiful items from felted wool sweaters. My favorites are Hot Water Bottle covers-(sell the water bottles too!) potholders and wine sleeves. I also do things like scarves and mittens, fingerless gloves and ponchos. Everything is one-of-a-kind. You check out my stuff at http://www.woolenitbenice.com or on Facebook at Woolen It Be Nice. I hope to get on Etsy in the near future.
I am a new mama and crafter of many sorts. I have a had a tiny little jewelry business for a few years that now is focused mostly on Etsy- as me and my babe stay in our nest most of the time. I work with the healing colors and medicinal properties of gemstones to create naturally elegant & simple jewelry. Please visit me at http://www.desertdiosa.etsy.com
Thanks so much for offering this opportunity to share our creations with each other. As an Etsian, even if you don’t buy anything, favoriting and adding people to your circle is a wonderful to promote, connect and inspire each other. Please stop by my shop and favorite that which you like.
PS I love this blog– it is a wonderful resource as a new mama at home with my little magical being.
Chris Willow is a lovely waldorfy mama who writes MamaRoots.com and sells on Etsy under the same name. She also contributes articles to Rhythm of the Home. She creates small wooden figurines – totally adorable – at reasonable prices, as well as little journals, story dice, etc. She lives in my town and I would love for you all to stop by her shop on Etsy to grab a sweet wooden critter for your advent calendar or stocking!

Etsy is THE BEST place to buy! I am constantly amazed at the variety of extremely talented artisans in the Etsy Marketplace. Why would you buy anywhere else? I have a millinery shop where I make hats and fascinators using traditional millinery techniques.
